As a kid I wasn't aware Life was dressed with thorns and petal I wished to climb its twisted stairs forgotten i was a duckling no feather. How can you comfort a boy Whose mama left in midst of thorns Which song soothes the cries of a boy Whose papa threw in the den of lions. If I had known life would be so hard I wouldnt have tried to curb in mama's womb If I hard known I've got to brawl with life I would have live freely as a bee. I faked a smile in disguise behind my smiles lies heavy load of cries as I wallow in pools of anxieties and rue dyed my feelings to black, grey and blue I tried so hard to unravel the mystery of me with tinted smiles and pallid looks If only I knew life would be a prison of emotion sailing to it as a lamb would be a better option. ©Iamteazhy
