THE JOURNEY

Inspired by LAURIE GROVE
.
With anguish I embark on a quest
With my shadows, I walk
To this misery land I knew nothing about
With my bag heavily loaded
With criticism, hatred that pierce my soul

I walk with my ancestors
Ride through the giant storm
Hunger strikes me hard

The storm howl at me like an angry father
Reminiscing how he scold me with his monstrous voice
Whenever I got my self into huge trouble
Sent to bed with no dinner
Tonight,my stomach grumbles reminds me of him

I've got to achieve my aim
I walk each day with pains
Bruises and left over scars
Of this ungrateful act,they tender
For I'm treated like a stranger
Left alone to challenge forthcoming dangers.

In this jungle, I'm freaking out
My led?..I guess it's out of light
Howls of wolves frighten me
For this whirlwind shattered my feelings
This weird bird fleeing with speed
Monstrous insects blaring like siren

I'm left in curiousity
Which path to embark on
This bushy path I know nothing of it's outcome
Or the home I left, which is full of enemies.

Enemies whose acts are so vicious
Coldblooded like vampires
Their words thrust me like an ancient sword
Horrid beings,engulfed with brutal assaults.

The fear of beast make me wants to retreat
The pains I've refrains, gear me to keep moving
Even though the destination is hard to predict
With my ambition,I'll achieve my dreams
No matter how savage the journey.
