Tomorrow (Excerpt from the Street Child Book)

I'll sit on broken bricks
of dreams i've failed to mould
to bid them the sweetest farewell
while mud-puddling in pools of rue.

Tomorrow
I'll talk about broken feelings
of yester-days blooming flowers
while walking down the naked streets-
where hearts are hang up on trees

Tomorrow
I'll walk on life's thorny lanes
to feel the pain of yester-years heroes-
see how the sword slit their throats
and their blood rest on history's signpost

Tomorrow
I'll taste the delicious meal of joy
and sip from the warm tea of comfort.
I'll put on a rainbow smiles
to clad my crinkle cheeks.

Tomorrow
I'll clap to the tune of success
while reckoning the days of shambles and crumbles
I'll tell the tale to street kids-
of how i fetch water to baskets of hope.

But till then...
I'll sit on the crest of my world
awaiting the dreamy morrow.
