Lone soul (A Duet With Jasmine)

Taiwo

When the sun has gone to sleep
and wolves are marching to the steep
Whilst evening breeze saturates the atmosphere
to my ruddy mood mender I'll adhere.

If tomorrow dusk comes in blue garment
and lovers are adorning the twinkling stars
I'll plant round my loneheart an ornament
to fume and enfold my dreary scars
as I've grown too cold to nurture a feeling

Jasmine

A lonesoul a loneheart
a cactus in the desert
I am an alpha in one-man pack
with joy doodling on my back

I'm a rock in the chilly snow
Hardened and weathered by rain and cold
as I journey through life's witty length
the slash and squash become my strength

Taiwo

The ember moon knows the tale
of the wolves whose hearts are frail
the whirling winds he cuddles
yawing to life mud puddles

like the brown antique in an old museum
dusty and grimy as desert dust
In my heart I've digged a dungeon
to bury affectionate feelings till they rust.
